My name is Alejandro Ruiz I was born in Pomona, it is the border city between LA County and San Bernardino County. Pomona has also been seen as a “ghetto” city but that is said by those who never came to the city and experience life here. My city motivates me a lot to succeed, I am and will always be a Pomona Artist. I’m a Mexican American artist of all mediums, photography, screen printing, painting, and filmmaking. Hard work is something big everything I’ve done is due to how much time and effort I put into it. I was taught Screen Printing by a good friend called SAMO and since then I have been creating shirts and sweaters with screen printing. Since I was little I just wanted to create, either drawing random figures, taking pictures, or making videos, that same mentality has sticked with me and is what keeps me going and keeps me going.
