The dA Center for the Arts is a diverse, multidisciplinary, non-profit organization, aiming to enhance the quality of life for the greater Pomona community by educating about and providing opportunities to experience, appreciate, and support the arts through inclusive and healthy community activities.
dA Vision
The dA is shifting perceptions of art from exclusive to inclusive and prioritizing accessible and equitable art experiences for all ages and all abilities.
The dA offers an inviting and safe space for artists, musicians, poets, dancers, actors and community to have a conversation that ignites transformational improvements & results.
The dA supports listening, and encourages all ages to be understanding, empathic, and creative citizens who are empowered to be advocates for the culture they want to see in their community.
The dA nurtures self-confidence, self-competence, and self-expression individually and collectively for all abilities.
The dA supports a sense of place, belonging , and community through affordable art experiences and opportunities for all abilities.
The dA sparks imagination by teaching accessible & inclusive creative/artistic skills and knowledge using a variety of art-making materials and techniques for all abilities
The dA provides a tool box of life skills for a successful future journey and to support life long learning and creative thinking for creative solutions for all abilities.
