Azalea Segura-Mora

Azalea Segura-Mora (she/her) is a Mexican-American multidisciplinary artist and musician, event coordinator, audio engineer, and educator. A graduate of UC San Diego, she studied Computing in the Arts, focusing on arts and music technology. She joined The dA Center for the Arts as part of the ArtsBridge and ArtsWorks programs to guide students through art creation.
With experience as a past teacher’s aide for a first-grade classroom and a current music teacher, Azalea is dedicated to fostering creativity and artistic expression in students. She has a background in event coordination, having organized a music benefit festival in the past, and is committed to using art as a tool for community empowerment. As a music artist, cellist, singer, and songwriter, she finds joy in creating music both solo and collaboratively. She performs with her band, alegrías, and also creates music under her artist name, asália. Through her work, Azalea strives to uplift and support her community through the power of art.
