The dA Center for the Arts will continue the September & October tradition to recognize and laud the history, culture and contributions from Latinx/Chicanx Artists as cultural leaders who excel at applying the arts, music, & poetry to advocate for social justice. These artists are civic responders to the call for action. They lift causes and people and offer empathy and a light of hope in oppressive times through their artwork, songs, and words. Special recognition to the Facebook group Collectors Of Chicano/Latino Art and Allies who have been so supportive of this exhibition.
