Lucy Chinn

Lucinda (Lucy) Chinn (she/her) is originally from Claremont and grew up volunteering with The dA Center. As a recent graduate of Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, with degrees in Music, History, and English, she brings a strong academic foundation to her work as a multidisciplinary arts instructor and program support assistant for The dA. Her experience includes over 15 years of classical violin performance training, as well as instruction in dance, including ballet and modern styles. Lucy has a wide range of professional interests and experiences, including social justice work, arts administration, healthcare, non-profits, social services, and more. Across her goals, Lucy's focus remains on program accessibility. Having studied music in Milan, Italy, and completed a senior thesis on Estonia's Singing Revolution, she brings a global perspective to her work in the arts.
