Jocelyn Mulgado
ArtBridge Coordinator
I am a Chicana artist whose work emphasizes feminism, culture, and mental health with both dreamlike and realistic visuals. With bright and bold colors, I choose to create my work mainly in oil and acrylic paint or color pencils. I am a firm believer in making art accessible for everyone due to the lack of artistic opportunities I had growing up. Over the course of my career, my passion for exhibitions, teaching, and community has grown. With my work, I value reaching audiences and showing people that art can be made from any background. I enjoy revealing truth from various perspectives with my work, whether it is socially or psychologically. In 2024 I earned my BFA in Drawing and Painting at Azusa Pacific University, and will graduate 2026 with my MFA in Painting at Claremont Graduate University.
