Esnaider Ortega

Esnaider Ortega (she/her/hers) is an art educator/artist living in the Los Angeles area with a deep appreciation for art. She believes the process of creating for the sake of art is the true definition of art. At times artists can get stuck with having perfect pieces that may lead to an artist feeling discouraged, but Esnaider's work invites artists to release those doubting feelings and engage in playful art making processes that add support to an artist's mindset and challenge an artist to go beyond the structured walls of a box. Esnaider's art focuses on an explosion of patterns, colors and shapes in a whimsical and animated light that help make simple objects come to life. Esnaider is a first generation graduate from California State University Los Angeles with a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education. She is a program coordinator and teaching artist of various programs to artists from toddlers to adults of all abilities at the dA Center for the Arts.
