Esthela Moncada

Esthela Moncada (she/her/hers) is an undergraduate student at Santa Monica College as a communications major. Esthela found her love for the arts at age 10 when she learned how to sing and play the trumpet at the Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles (YOLA). She moved from Los Angeles to Pomona and transitioned her art form into theater. She attended The School of Arts and Enterprise for 8th grade and the rest of high school. She learned many different aspects of theater which includes acting, directing, stage management, and spotlight operations. Some of the productions that she was a part of during her time at The SAE were “In the Heights”, “The Miracle Worker”, “Mary Poppins Jr.” “Fools”, and many more. In college, she took a few theater classes and even explored other art forms like photography and journalism classes. Esthela is currently working at the dA Center for the Arts as Director Support.
