Inspired Through Art Surface Surfers is a show about the story of local San Gabriel Valley graffiti artists who have a passion for what they do, regardless of the limitations and accessibility of surfaces.

Being from the San Gabriel Valley, especially as a young teen, our world was so little, we didn’t go to Down Town LA to do graffiti. We also didn’t have or know of canvas other than what we learned to use, concrete walls, fences, or anything that we could write on or find.

Inspired Through Art, Surface Surfers shows not only the graffiti art but what was found in our own backyards, the spaces to paint that ended up being a home for many local Graffiti writers to paint.
