Matt Sedillo is a Chicano poet, writer, creative director, and public intellectual called “the poet laureate of the struggle” by Dr. Paul Ortiz and “the best political poet in America” by investigative journalist Greg Palast. He has been featured in over 90 colleges and universities including the University of Cambridge, countless cultural institutions, including Casa De Las Americas. Sedillo has been various media outlets including the Associated Press, The Los Angeles Times, C-Span the Canadian Broadcast Corporation and various stations throughout the Pacifica Network.

He is the current literary director of the dA Center for the Arts in Pomona California and author of Mowing Leaves of Grass published by FlowerSong Press.

Samuel Temblador is a bilingual writer and full-time court-certified interpreter from South Central Los Angeles. Identifying as a Mexifornian Angeleno, the Chicanx concept of nepantla is a key philosophy in his pursuit of innovative storytelling from a Latinx perspective. He holds a degree in English and Spanish literature from UCLA and volunteers as a program facilitator for the Chicano Youth Leadership Conference as time allows.

As a poet, he has performed for audiences at multiple community spaces throughout Los Angeles including Little Casa (Boyle Heights), the Airliner (Lincoln Heights), Eastside Café (El Serreno), UCLA, and Casa Solidaria del Sur (South Central). His first short piece of fiction, “La Princesa Maya,” is available to read online at Watermelanin Magazine. “Contacto,” his Latinx Sci-Fi novel, is currently in the works.
