For the duration of the festival, from Friday, July 29th through August 13th, there will be Bowie themed or inspired art in the galleries.

There will also be screenings of Bowie movies.

Plus other stuff.

This calendar may change slightly and/or be added to in the upcoming weeks, so check back for further updates and information.

If you are a musician or have a band or know of a band that would like to play a set of Bowie songs on Saturday, July 30th, fill out this form to get a slot (or be considered for a slot) in the line-up. Make sure you include contact information, and if possible a link to music or video.

If you have art—painting, photo, collage, sculptural, multimedia, drawing, installation, etc—you would like to display for the duration of the festival (July 29th – August 13th), which has Bowie as its subject or inspiration, fill out this form and let us know the dimensions and medium of your piece, and maybe send or link to a picture. Artwork must be dropped off between July 16th and July 23rd, and picked up between August 15th and August 20th. Each submitted art work will require a $10 handling fee, and there can be no more than two artworks per person.

If you wish to participate in the fashion show, costume party, rock star, cross-dressing, drag extravaganza and parade, either as a designer, a model, or a costumed dresser of experimental fashion or drag, fill out this form, and let us know how you’d like to participate.

We are looking for volunteers too, or if you may have a Bowie DVD to loan, rent, or screen during the festival, or if you want to contribute in some other way or have an idea or suggestion, fill out a form and let us know!

Each of these events will be hosted in an LGBTQ Safe Zone.

Small and reasonable suggested donations may be requested for some events.

Bowie Music Dance Party nights, Friday and Saturday the 5th, 6th, 12th, and 13th, to be DJed by long-time Bowie fan and the dA Center for the Arts exponent, Jason LaMotte.
