Fall Session Classes 2011

Tuesdays
Restorative Yoga with Jojo 6:30-8:00pm
$15 a class $50 for 4 consecutive classes.
Restorative Yoga is the practice of conscious body/mind relaxation. When supported with props, the body relaxes and opens, releasing tension and stored-up toxins that can cause illness. Restorative poses offer benefits to both the body and mind, for conditions ranging from insomnia, asthma and chronic pain to migraines to depression.

Creative Computers for Artists 6:00-8pm with Eric Underwood
$10 per class for 4 weeks.
Designed for kids and adults. Learn Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Digital Painting, Animation and more!

Wednesdays
Salsa &Afro-Cuban Drumming Ensemble 6:30:00-8:30 with Thaddeus Gallizzi, Paws Music Instructor
On-going, weekly group classes, $15 per class.
Explore the Conga drum, the elements of Salsa Music and it's roots! Instruction and performance of Salsa & Afro-Cuban Folkloric rhythm & song. Includes use of percussion instruments congas, Bongos, Timbales, and more! All skill levels welcomed start anytime.


Thursdays
Ceramics Workshop 6:30-9pm with JoAnne Campanella
$60 for a 4 Week Session which includes materials.
Explore hand building and sculpture techniques. Students work on projects of their own choice once basic skills have been achieved. All levels are welcomed.

Jewelry Making 6:30-9pm with Vicky Thomas
$35 per 4 week session.
A multi tiered class. Students learn basic beading foundation working with a variety of stringing materials and the techniques of off loom, creating aesthetic bracelets, necklaces and rings.

Figure Drawing 7-10pm uninstructed
$10 Adults/$5 Students w/ID.
Develop and strengthen your figurative skills through observation of live models and staged environments.

Saturdays
Figure Drawing 9am-noon uninstructed
$10 Adults /$5 Students w/ID.
Develop and strengthen your figurative skills through observation of live models and staged environments

Silkscreen Practices with Justin Robinson noon-3 pm
$10 a class or $35 for 4 weeks.
Basic techniques of silkscreen printing are introduced. Students leave with finished print or t-shirt.
